THREE NEW DEGREES OFFERED

The Board, Administration, and Faculty are happy to announce that the Seminary is approved to begin offering two new Associate of Arts Degrees. Enrollment is underway with the programs officially beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year.

The Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies is designed especially for the more mature adult who wants to quickly get an initial degree. It is designed to assist those entering clergy related or lay related service in the church. The degree gives a good foundation for further studies, with all credits transferable into the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree program. The Associate of Arts in Christian Urban Ministry is designed for the serious adult with a longing to serve in the urban church or nonprofit ministry. Earned credits from this degree completely transfers into the Bachelor of Arts in Urban Christian Ministry degree program, enabling those that desire to continue their education to obtain the bachelor level of completion faster with no loss of credits.

The Board, Administration, and Faculty are most happy to announce that the Seminary is approved to begin offering a Master of Divinity Degree.  The program offers three concentrations: Pastoral Counseling, Chaplaincy, and Pastoral Studies. Enrollment is underway with the programs officially beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year.

Those interested in this accredited program, or current or former students desiring to know what is needed to transfer into either of these two new degree programs should contact Paula Emrich, 704-334-6882, x 108, or email pemrich@nlts.edu for more details.
