Goals and Objectives

At New Life Theological Seminary we love Jesus Christ.  That's why our goals and objectives are all about H.I.M.

GOALS
 
It is the goal of NLTS to develop servant leaders with high academic training, interpersonal skills, and moral constitution.
 
 
High Academic Training: NLTS students must obtain the best academic training mixed with practical hands-on experience in their field of ministry.
 
Interpersonal Skills: NLTS students shall develop interpersonal skills conducive to the various fields of ministry.
 
Moral Constitution: NLTS shall produce men and women of strong spiritual and moral constitution who develop into their character a true Christian lifestyle of servanthood.
 
 
OBJECTIVES
 
High Academic Training:
  • A graduate of NLTS will have evaluative skills.
  • A graduate of NLTS will be committed to a life long pursuit of learning and intellectual growth.
  • A graduate of NLTS will demonstrate good communication skills.
  • A graduate of NLTS will be able to make theory practical and applicable.
  • A graduate of NLTS will be able to resource sound information.
 
Interpersonal Skills:
  • A graduate of NLTS shall have a commitment to modeling maturity in their relationships of family, church, and society.
  • A graduate of NLTS shall have an acceptance and appreciation of diversity, and be able to relate positively, without prejudice, to produce interaction and experiences among diverse racial and cultural groups.
 
Moral Constitution:
  • A graduate of NLTS will understand the purpose of daily worship and how worship is to translate into their Christian lifestyle.
  • A graduate of NLTS will have a Messianic understanding of Scripture.
  • A graduate of NLTS will be able to effectively communicate and defend the Scripture to an urban audience.
  • A graduate of NLTS will be able to articulate the Gospel effectively, in order to lead others to a saving knowledge of the one true Messiah.
